Approach
For Embedded Creative Producer projects, I temporarily integrate into your team and adapt to your workflow, programs, and way of working. For premium character animation via Capybara Animation, there is a completely different process, see the Capybara page for details.
As an Embedded Creative Producer for complex animation and CGI projects, my approach is flexible and transparent. I temporarily become part of your team and ensure clear communication throughout the entire process. From project kickoff to final delivery, you always know what to expect.
Location
Based in Arnhem
Centrally located between Amsterdam and the German border. Amsterdam, Utrecht, and the Randstad are within an hour's reach. Perfect for projects in the creative hotspots.
Throughout the Netherlands
Rotterdam, The Hague, Breda, Eindhoven, Tilburg, for longer distances I prefer working in a hybrid manner (a combination of onsite and remote).
Collaborating Across Europe
For exceptional projects with interesting collaborations and a fitting budget, I am willing to work on-site. Berlin, Paris, Barcelona—experienced with international teams and workflows. For most international projects, I work remotely from the Netherlands.
Remote worldwide
For coordination and project management, I comfortably work across all EMEA time zones and the US East Coast. Experienced with international project teams and various time zones.
UK, London?
For exciting collaborations, this is certainly possible, though it does require a bit more preparation regarding travel and accommodation due to the Brexit situation.
Work arrangements and collaboration options
On-site
For embedded projects and intensive production periods, I integrate into your team and workflow. Direct communication, quick decision-making, team building—perfect for complex projects with tight deadlines.
Remote
For planning, coordination, and project management. I am comfortable working remotely, thanks to years of experience with international teams. Video calls, screen sharing, shared project files—just as effective as being on-site.
Hybrid
A combination of both, for instance, project kick-off on site, remote production, final reviews on site. Often the most efficient approach as you leverage the benefits of both worlds.
Email for important agreements
All official arrangements and decisions should be made via email for clear documentation. Use chat and phone for quick questions and daily coordination, but don't make any important commitments without email confirmation.
Your programs and systems
I adapt to your existing systems: MS Office, Slack, Teams, Asana, Monday, Ftrack, whatever your team is accustomed to. Thanks to years of experience with various tools, I can quickly immerse myself in your specific workflow.
Flexible workflow approach
For short projects and fixed project fees, I prefer using my own programs (faster and more efficient as I'm thoroughly familiar with them). For longer embedded projects, I fully integrate into your workflow and learn your specific tools.
My preferred programs
For maximum efficiency: Google Workspace, Notion, Adobe Suite, Obsidian, Claude AI, Framer. All platform-independent and portable, allowing me to be immediately productive anywhere.
Rates
and availability
Flexible pricing structure
Day, week, month, or project rates, depending on the scope, duration, and urgency of the project. Longer collaborations receive more attractive rates, as overhead decreases and efficiency improves.
Planning and Availability
Depending on current project commitments, I am usually available for new assignments within 1-2 weeks. Not all projects require 100% of my time, so there is often room for overlapping projects.
Urgent Projects
Yes, that's what freelancers are for: flexibility when needed. But first, let's realistically assess if the planning is feasible and what the priorities are.
Let's get acquainted
