KATANA Zirconia Block
A new level of cosmetic dental material
I was tasked by the Marketing Manager of Kuraray Noritake NL with developing a set of 3D animated promo videos that advertise the Katana Block products and the Cerec machine ecosystem at trade shows in Europe, the United States, and Japan. Following this, a comprehensive multilingual film was commissioned to explain the product and technological processes with the depth and detail that dental experts expect.

Production: — After several brainstorming sessions and iterations with the client, I transformed their rough scripts into concrete storyboards. — Art-directed the entire Japanese/Western visual style, which they loved. — Designed all visuals, modeled all machines and products, and animated all shots. — Scenes were lit and rendered by a friendly Redshift expert, making everything look beautiful and shiny. — The entire edit came together in After Effects, where I also scripted the project so that a single edit could be easily rendered in different languages. — Modeled and rendered high-resolution product visuals for print.
